On their own

In keeping with the theme this week of letting my kids grow up a little, I allowed the girls to walk up to Centennial for their afternoon playground center group. Now we only live 3-4 blocks from the school, but they do have to cross a busy road with a stoplight and I have to admit it makes me nervous. But they promised to be careful, not talk to strangers and to use my cell phone to call me when they get there as well as call me when they leave to come home. *sigh* They made it up there in 10 minutes and I expect them to call me again at 3:30. *sigh* When I was their age I was all over the neighborhood. Go figure.
