So how many TV shows do I actually watch now a days? HMMM... Let's count them and see. And these mind you are in no particular order.
1. Grey's Anatomy
2. ER
3. CSI
4. NCIS - this I started watching because of the writer's strike
5. ANTM - again because of the writer's strike
6. Dancing with the Stars
7. Heroes
8. Boston Legal
9. 90210 - yes I am because I was a diehard fan in the 90's
10. Greek - again because of the writer's strike
11. Pushing Daisies
12. Dirty Sexy Money
13. Private Practice
14. Survivor
15. LOST
16. Desperate Housewives
17. Brothers and Sisters
18. Amazing Race
19. Burn Notice - Summer series
20 Secret Life of the American Teenager - Summer series
21. Rescue Me - if it ever comes back on
22. In Plain Sight
I want to start watching Fringe - I hear that is good and the Mentalist. I also want to watch My Own Worst Enemy with Christian Slater and ABC has another one coming out that peaked my interest but I can't remember the name.
And yes I watch a lot of TV, but only at nights and when I am folding laundry. That is the beauty of my DVR, I can watch it when I want. Like now! So gotta go!
Wow, 22 shows.

Halloween Status Report...
So here is where I stand:
Meghan - Hermione, Robe is done except I have to put the patch on and a clasp. I also have her shirt, pants and I have 8 bars out of 19 knitted for her scarf.
Ryan - Frog, the body is done, the hood is done, except I need to put the eyes and the crown on, and I have to do his feet
Katie - Pop Star Diva - skirt is done, except for a hook and eye, the shrug jacket is done, except for a clasp, I have leggings and a shirt - need to pick up some bangles and jewels. She even has a head set mike to where
Aaron - monkey - not started
Chris - Convict - Not started
Me - No clue what I want to be yet so not started.
So over all I think I am faring pretty well.

Finally a plant I can't kill!
I do NOT have a green thumb. I cannot grow plants for the life of me. They all die and I feel bad. When I get a plant as a present I feel stress immediately because I know I will kill it and then I will try even harder to keep it alive, which eventually leads to me killing it quicker. Kids I can grow, plants not so much.
So my friend Judee gave a "pregnant" plant in October 2006 for our house warming. She knows I can't grow plants, but assured me I couldn't kill this one. Well imagine my surprise when it grew a foot in two months. I was really excited. Maybe I couldn't kill this plant. Then around the time Aaron was born I notice a large black spot on the main stem and a month later the whole thing keeled over. *Sigh* Since I was dealing with a newborn I threw it in the sunroom to deal with later.
Two months later I looked at it and it was pretty much dead. I did notice some buds at the base of it so I gave it some water and left it alone for the summer. Winter came and I put it in the basement window and let it be. We watered it a few times and it grew a bit, not a lot, but I didn't have the heart to toss it out quite yet.
Spring came, it was growing, small but growing so back to the sunroom. When it was finally warm enough I put it out on the deck and low and behold, look what happened! There are a few smaller ones growing on the bottom so I am going to transplant those out, hopefully not killing them and give them away. Finally a plant I can't kill! Thanks Judee!

All grown up...
As of last Thursday night, Aaron is officially done with his crib. Chris of course went like gangbusters to get him into the bed, even though I asked for him to wait for the weekend. It was sad for me. This is the last of our babies that will sleep in the crib and I wanted to be home to put him to bed for the first time in his big boy bed. But dads can be butt-heads and forget all that stuff.
Anyway here he is today taking his nap. He still wakes on occassion but it has been less frequent than it had become.

Nature at it's best!
The kids wanted me to take a picture of this cool mushroom they found under our neighbor's tree. It was pretty big too! Neat!

Yeah Ryan!
Ryan had his check-up this morning at the dentist and Yeah! His teeth look good. he got a whole bag full of goodies. New toothbrush, floss, pen, sticker, etc... He is way pumped. So are we. *sigh*
What was lost has now been found!
During the month of July we traveled a lot and Aaron really didn't like it, so we got in the habit of giving him our watches to play with. Well he liked them so much he started wanting them while we were at home. Which we indulged of course. Well, my watch disappeared. Now Chris had given me a watch back in like 97, to wear at work so I wouldn't scratch up my good watch. Well I LOVED this watch. I think I replaced the band like 3 times and went through numberous batteries. And then it died. It lived a good life, but no matter what I did, it wouldn't recover.
Well it took me over a year to find another watch I liked just as much. It needed a wider leather band and be something that I could wear with the watch face down - I wear it on the inside of my wrist. This is because when I am carrying trays the watch digs into my hand, so I flip the watch around. Anyway... I found a replacement. A Fossil watch. Perfect, till it disappeared in July. Dang that Aaron.
Chris went through all the trash before it went to the curb, the kids went through all the toy baskets, I went through all the furniture. NO WATCH! ARGH! So I have been suffering and refusing to get another one in hopes one day it would show up. So imagine my surprise when I went to get my knitting for Meghan's scarf to find my watch sitting on top of the bag! And next to it the tell-tale NUK! Busted Aaron! HAHA!
But I am totally thrilled to have my watch back. Yeah!

The costumes have begun...
So I started sewing Halloween costumes yesterday. Here are what the kids will be this year.
Ryan - Frog, costume body is pretty much done already. Looks super cute!
Aaron - Monkey
Katie - Pop star Diva - Don't ask me how I am going to make that warm enough
Meghan - Hermione from Harry Potter. The orginal plan was to buy the costume. It came today and looks like ass! So I guess I will be making it. I have found a patch on Ebay and have upped the ante and have added knitting a scarf to the project list. And all in 6 weeks and 4 days.
And then there is Chris and I. I have no idea what I am making for us yet.
Yeah! Go Jen!!

Such a Handsome Boy!
Ryan had his first day of preschool today! He was very excited and made sure his backpack was packed and he was ready to go. He got a new shirt, jeans and brown shoes just for the first day. He had so much fun too. He made a fish and played in the gym and got an ice cream sandwich for a snack, because it was some girl's birthday. He can't wait to go back on Friday.
